Sweeping Up The Dust

It’s hard to see the world in the perspective of Jesus when you don’t have Jesus in your life to see the world.

You cannot draw a conclusion for morality when you don’t have the One who created it in the first place to dictate a decision or make a moral judgment in your life. When that’s the case, everything becomes protected and safe-guarded as long as comfort, peace and security are all established. However, these can be easily validated by our own perspective of them, and not God’s. We are not virtuous when we aim to keep people or even ourselves safe from reality. We do not inherit a sense of accomplishment when we continue to avoid the tough questions or continue down a path contrary to God’s will for our life.

The Word of God will rip you out of security, peace, and comfort and expose the areas of your life that need a little dusting- and that’s okay! It is better to take God’s Truth for your life now, than to continue to live a life quarrelled by a lie.

And so,

We leave you with this Word,

“For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart,” (Hebrews 4:12).
